I got the letter updated before I left and it's in the POTMCID folder. Can you print and sign it? I can see if Ed or Jim can deliver it.

We need to find someone to hand-deliver it today. I'm sure Ed, Jim, or PD could run it down there if needed.

I think it makes sense to use the language in the letter before.

So the clock stops when we actually respond, not when they receive it?

I think today is the deadline if we count 10 days after we received their notice. They've been hand-delivering and sending certified mail each time. I'll be at the groundbreaking this afternoon and not sure I'll be able to hand-deliver it myself. Tim said he could take it to the post office for certified mail today if we decide to go that route.

I would just use that again unless Lauren thinks there is a reason not to.

If we send it today, are we still meeting the 10-day response time? They can claim they didn't get the email. Should we have it hand-delivered?

This is what we used in the original rejection letter.

The Board of Aldermen will not approve a slate with Tom Hutsler nominated as a successor director. Mr. Hutsler has attempted to derail the proposed Route 9 Community Improvement District by providing false or misleading information regarding the petition to property owners within the proposed district.

I think we need to state a reason for not accepting Tom even though we have stated it numerous times before.

Here's a draft of the letter. I think it needs to go out today. If I can get it signed I can have someone drop it off by certified mail at the post office this afternoon.
