Thanks Nan,

I don't recall refusing, but that is immaterial. I believe a couple of us can meet tomorrow night if need be.

The weekend is an option as well if time is of the essence.

Let me know

JM

The developer is willing to meet. He mentioned he asked you if you wanted to, but you refused. He feels, and I have to agree that the 20th is pushing it out pretty far to accommodate any changes. By that time, it will have gone to the Plan Commission and also to the Board of Aldermen for the first reading. Let's see how far we get tonight and try to hold something earlier than the 20th if still needed.

I am available on both dates, but the Board room is not available in the evening. We would need to find an alternative location or meet earlier in the day.

When would staff be available for a community input meeting regarding this development?

The first evening I can get the appropriate minded parties available would be this Wednesday 9/12 or next Thursday 9/20.

I suggest Dave Barth is present as well given his historical background with the county and city.

It will probably be best if we held the meeting during the evening, so more people are able to participate. Does Monday evening work for you?

Nan,

Thanks again for your time Friday.

As I mentioned on the phone, there are people interested in working with the city to create a win-win-win scenario for the residents, city and developer. That will require a level of community engagement that has been lacking to date.

If you'd and the developer would be open to sincere dialogs about what can be modified in the development plan proposed as to make it more digestible for the local residents I am happy to facilitate that discussion.

How does 9 AM next Monday morning look for you?

JM
